Perched just outside the entrance to the site of Petra, the Guesthouse is a reliable and popular choice for visitors who are happy to dispense with unnecessary facilities in return for an excellent location and decent service. The only thing really lacking from the hotel is a pool, and the property does have a few positive quirks of its own, such as a cave bar dug into an old Nabataean tomb.
